For any posts that haven’t made it to LinkedIn, review their error messages in your account by filtering the calendar by the LinkedIn network and Failed status.
Permissions issues
You do not have permission to post to LinkedIn. Update your LinkedIn Company Page role to Super Admin and then reconnect the profile before trying again.
- Explanation: This indicates that you do not have the proper permissions set up on the Company Page.
- Solution: Check your permission on LinkedIn and ensure it is set to Super Admin.
Connection issues
LinkedIn is experiencing a connection issue. Please reconnect your LinkedIn profile from +Profiles
- Explanation: This error can appear when there is an issue with the access token for LinkedIn, and the account needs to be reconnected.
- Solution: Check out our article, Reconnect a LinkedIn Profile for detailed instructions on how to reconnect your LinkedIn profile, then try re-posting your message from the Failed view.

Post content issues
The calculated target audience size is too small for the given targeting. An audience size of 300 is needed.
- Explanation: This error will appear when you try to post to a LinkedIn Company Page with geotargeting set up with an audience that doesn't meet the 300-follower minimum.
- Solution: Please adjust your LinkedIn geolocation to allow for an audience of greater than 300 followers. Please see our LinkedIn Geotargeting setup guide for more information
LinkedIn has declined this post as it’s a duplicate of a post that was published to this Profile recently. If you do still wish to send this post, please adjust the content before attempting to send it again.
- Explanation: LinkedIn does not allow duplicate messages to be sent to a Company Page or personal Profile within a short time frame (usually 10 minutes). This error is triggered when a post is sent to the same Profile or Company Page and scheduled to go out simultaneously or in quick succession.
- Solution: Please verify that you only send one version of the post to your LinkedIn account. Try re-posting to only one of the accounts, and if you're still seeing this issue with your post, please submit a ticket with the post in question, and we will investigate further.
