Essential troubleshooting steps
If you're experiencing an issue with the dashboard, such as buttons not being responsive, a page not loading, updates not appearing, or something similar, the following checklist may help you resolve the issue. If you need to open a support ticket, these steps will help rule out some potential causes.
Reset the Sendible cache
The first thing to do when experiencing issues with Sendible is to reset the Sendible cache.
Click the username in the top-right corner, then Preferences > System Settings > Reset Cache.
Replicate the issue
If resetting the cache didn't work, please try to replicate the issue using the techniques below to help isolate the source of the problem.
In a private/incognito browser window
Please open Sendible in a private/incognito window and see if the issue occurs again.
Here's how to open a new window based on your browser/operating system.
| Windows | Shortcut | Mac | Shortcut (⌘ for Command) |
| Google Chrome | Ctrl + Shift + N | Google Chrome | ⌘ + Shift + N |
| Firefox | Ctrl + Shift + P | Firefox | ⌘ + Shift + N |
| Opera | Ctrl + Shift + N | Opera | ⌘ + Shift + N |
| Edge | Ctrl + Shift + P | Safari | ⌘ + Shift + N |
Use a different browser
Each browser can have quirks that interfere with Sendible. We recommend Chrome, but to rule out a browser bug, try replicating the issue in a different browser than your usual one.
Use a different computer
Sometimes, certain applications (eg., anti-virus or other PC add-ons) can interfere with Sendible. Try to replicate the issue on a completely different computer.
Try a different network
Sometimes, network-based caching or security can interfere with Sendible. Try to replicate the issue using another wireless or mobile network.
Try different media
If your issue is related to media you've attached to a post, try attaching something else. Does the issue occur only with one file, or with all files or all media types?
Try a different profile
Does the issue happen only with one particular profile, or does it happen for all profiles for a particular platform, or does it happen for multiple platforms?
Still an issue?
No worries! We can take it from here.
Please submit a support ticket and be sure to mention you have gone through the typical troubleshooting steps. In addition, providing screenshots and including where you were and the steps you took when the issue happened will help us resolve it more quickly!
