Delete duplicate social profiles
If you've accidentally added a profile more than once, you'll want to remove the duplicates to prevent a myriad of problems. However, make sure not to remove the profile you originally added, as you may have scheduled posts set to post to that profile. Also, removing it may cause you to lose your reporting data.
To avoid this, rename your profiles, which will allow you to determine which social profiles you have been using for your posts.
-
Go to Profiles and find the duplicate profiles.
-
Click edit and change the name of one of the duplicates by adding a number at the end or otherwise making it different.
-
Once you have them renamed, go to your 'Scheduled', 'Queues', and 'Drafts' views to see which social profile your posts are using.
- Once you have determined which profile you'd like to keep, edit the post(s) as needed to change to the desired profile.
- After the changes are completed, delete the duplicate profile(s) and rename the profile you will keep back to its original name, if necessary.
