Set up your white-label account
Company details
Adjust your white label to fully reflect your agency, company or brand:
- Change the logo
- Change the company name
- Change the company email
- Change the related website
- Change the account owner
To access the 'White Label settings' area, you must be logged in as an Admin. Click Settings > White Label settings.
The 'Company details' section, where you can change the general settings for your account, will be selected by default, but you can also switch to this page by selecting it from the menu to the right of the page if you're already in the 'White Label settings' area.
Logo
If you click on Logo you can change/update your logo. The dimensions should be around 250 x 57 px.
Company name
The 'Company name' is mainly used by our system to identify your white-label account. However, it will also determine what name appears in the browser tab.
Company email
Similar to the 'Company name' field, the 'Company email' is mainly used to identify your white-label account, and it must be unique. However, this is also the email shown to your clients when you send them emails.
Website
The 'Website' field displays the URL of the page where users can log in to your white-label account. You shouldn't change this without checking with your CRM, as it also needs to be adjusted on our end.
Account owner
This field displays the 'Account owner', which is the main admin on your white label that payments are linked to. You'll need to get in touch with us if you'd like this changed to another user on your account. If you need to do this because the previous account owner has left the company or a similar reason, we'd recommend changing the account details to reflect a new user. Otherwise, all profiles, messages, etc. under that account would need to be set up again.
Once you've adjusted the information in any fields you need to, please click the Save button to ensure your changes are reflected.
System configuration
Configure your white label so that it matches your needs:
- Change general settings
- Change tracking & widgets
- Enable AI Assist
- Change URL shortening
- Change API details
Accessing the white-label settings
You must be logged in as an Admin on your white label. Once you are, select Settings > White Label Settings > System configuration.
General Settings
The 'Default language' field lets you set the language your dashboard displays in.
In the 'Support URL' field, you can add a support site or page you've created for your users or an email address to which support queries from your users should be directed. This should be an email address for your company. If needed, you can contact our support desk to address user queries and issues. If you include an email address, please insert a mailto tag, e.g. mailto:name@company.com.
Tracking & Widgets
You can add your 'Google Analytics tracking ID' to collect data on how your users use your white-label account.
If you'd like to add a feature like a chat or another type of widget, you can add the necessary HTML code into the 'Custom widget code' field by clicking the 'Edit widget code' link underneath and add your code in the dialogue box presented.
AI Assist
By default, AI Assist is not enabled on white-label accounts. To provide this feature to your clients, you must enable it here.
URL shortening
If you'd like to set a default shortener on your white label, you can select this under the Default URL Shortener dropdown. Users can still set the shortener they want to use individually under their own user accounts.
If you have an account with Bit.ly and have Bit.ly set as your default shortener, you can add in your Bit.ly account details so that your links are shortened with a vanity URL if you've paid for this on your Bit.ly account and can track links through your Bit.ly account.
API details
The 'API details' field displays API details you can use when making calls to our API. We currently only support SSO integration via our API. Please contact your sales agent or customer success manager to discuss access.
Once you've made any necessary updates, select the Save button to ensure your changes are reflected.
Design & layout
Choose a design
Go to Settings > White Label settings > Design & Layout.
You can choose from the list of available white-label themes. Use the Preview button to preview different themes.
Once you’ve found the theme you want to use, click the Save button at the bottom of the page to apply it to your White Label.
You can also access the CSS for your white label if you want to make custom changes. For an in-depth guide to making CSS updates as well as customising other aspects of your white label, please download the PDF included at the bottom of this article.
Customise the menu
You can add a custom tab(s) that can link out to or, in some cases, iframe an external page from another site. For example, you may want to link back to your main site or a particular content resource.
Go to Settings > White Label Settings > Design & Layout. Click on the Create a new custom menu link.
- Provide the name for the new tab that will be added to your white label.
- Add the URL that relates to that tab.
- You can also add submenus if needed.
-
Select whether you want the page related to the URL to be treated as an iframe in which case the page will be opened in the white label dashboard or whether you want this to be treated as just a URL in which case when a user clicks on that custom tab, the page will be opened in a new browser window/tab outside of the white label dashboard.
Note: Not all web pages support iframing, so if you find that this isn’t working as expected, try the URL option instead. If this works, the link will need to be handled as a URL and not an iframe.
When you’re happy with the settings, click Save and then the new custom tab will be added to your white-label dashboard.
Live chat and support link
The support link is only visible to you and other Administrators of your white-label site and can not be seen by your customers.
