Switch user dashboards
In Sendible, an Admin user or any Team Member with access to another user can switch between dashboards. You can view a different dashboard by clicking My dashboard in the top-left corner and selecting the dashboard name from the drop-down menu.
Switching dashboards lets you perform actions on another user's behalf, which is particularly useful for posting content for a client. Since clients can only see posts made within their own dashboard, you'll need to ensure you create any posts for them from within their specific dashboard. You can do this by logging into your own Admin or Team Member account and then switching to the client's dashboard, provided you have the necessary permissions to access it. This way, all posts you create there will be directly visible to your client when they log into their dashboard.
How to switch between dashboards
- Click the My dashboard in the top-left corner.
- Select the dashboard that you would like to view.
How to provide access to user dashboards
Depending on your account set-up, you may find that your Team Members can not switch into anyone else’s dashboard, or a Team Member/Client does not appear in the drop-down list. This means that as an Admin user, you must give access to the Team Member/Client's dashboard.
- First, head over to Settings on the far right, which is revealed after clicking your name.
- Click the drop-down arrow and select Manage users.
- Select the Edit button on the right-hand side of the user you wish to change.
- Choose the Workflow option.
- Select the Also has access to option and add the user whose dashboard you want them to be able to switch to.
FAQs
Why am I unable to switch between users?
Your browser cache may be full, which is preventing areas of the site from being displayed correctly.
To resolve this, please do the following to clear your cache:
- Click Your Name on the top right of the dashboard.
- Select Preferences from the drop-down.
- Click System settings on the right.
- Click Reset Cache.
- Refresh your browser.
