Overview of Optimal Time
Maximize your impact by posting when your audience is most engaged. Schedule your posts during peak engagement times to ensure they reach the widest audience possible.
Things to know
- Find the Optimal Time in your dashboard when scheduling in the Compose Box and when setting up Queues.
- Optimal Time will choose times when your previous posts have generated the most engagement.
- Optimal Times usually avoid sending at highly congested times, such as the top of the hour.
Take a look
Optimal Times are calculated based on ALL the profiles added to a user account but only for those platforms for which Quick Reports are available. They are not calculated for each specific profile.
The suggested times are based on the account's posting history over the previous 30 days when your posts have received the most likes, shares, comments, or other forms of engagement.
Since Optimal Times are based on ALL the profiles added under a user account, these times may not be relevant in all circumstances, such as managing several clients through one user account. This is one of the reasons why setting up each client under their own individual user account is a best practice.
Use Optimal Time in your post
The Optimal Time can be added to your posts when scheduling in the Compose Box. It's so much easier than trying to guess at times!
Use Optimal Time in a Queue
When adding times to a Queue, you can choose the Optimal Time option for your time—up to three Optimal Times per day. (For more information on Queues, please see our Overview of Queues.)
