Pause or cancel your subscription
Circumstances can change, and you may no longer need or want to use Sendible. You can pause or cancel your subscription for up to three months if you don’t need your account for the moment. Please see the article Subscription payments for more information on how to change your payment method or contact us for assistance.
Pause your subscription
Need to take a break? Have a crisis situation? If you don't need to use your account for a while, you can pause your subscription for up to three months.
-
To access the Subscription page, select the account name in the top right corner of the screen and choose Subscription from the drop-down menu.
-
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Cancel Subscription. Then click Cancel my account. Don't worry; you're not cancelling your subscription, just heading to where you can choose to pause it.
-
Click Pause subscription instead at the bottom of the pop-up.
- Review and click the checkboxes to acknowledge what will happen to your user account(s).
- Once you've reviewed and ticked the checkboxes, you can click on the Pause subscription and log out button. Be aware that you and the users under your subscription will be logged out and unable to access your accounts until the subscription is reinstated. Any scheduled posts or reports will also be paused and not sent out.
-
If you need more time on the platform before you pause, select the Never mind, I want to continue using my account option and come back when you're ready.
Important: You'll need to contact us when you want your account(s) reinstated. We will also send an email with further information, so please be sure to keep an eye out for it.
You can unpause your account at any time, but it will automatically be cancelled if you do not reinstate it within three months.
Cancel your subscription
If you no longer need Sendible, we'll be sad to see you go, but you can cancel your subscription by following these steps.
-
To access the Subscription page, select the username in the top right corner of your dashboard and select Subscription from the drop-down menu.
-
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Cancel Subscription.
-
The cancellation date will be displayed, and you will have full access to the dashboard and all its features until that date. Select Cancel my account to proceed.
-
To cancel your subscription, please take a moment to review the information and click the checkboxes to acknowledge the impact on your account. Select the Proceed with cancellation button to confirm and process the cancellation.
Important: Your account will only be recoverable for up to 20 days after you cancel. After that, it is unrecoverable, and all data will be permanently deleted 30 days after the cancellation date. -
Select the reason that best describes why you are cancelling from the drop-down menu, and provide a bit of additional information about your decision. Your feedback is important! Click Cancel Subscription to complete the process.
OR
You can reconsider by selecting the 'Never mind, I'll stay link.
Once you have completed this step, all users will immediately be logged out of the account and lose access to the dashboard. A banner showing the number of days until cancellation will be displayed on the Admin dashboard in the top right corner near the username. Clicking on this will take you to the Subscriptions page.
Change your mind?
If you cancel and there is time remaining before the next billing period, the Subscription page will display the time remaining until your subscription is fully cancelled.
Once you cancel your subscription, there are two options available to you.
- Restore Subscription: You can restore the account any time before the cancellation date. This option will disappear once that date is reached.
- Cancel as soon as possible: This option allows you to cancel your account before the end of the billing period. If you choose this option, the Sendible team will contact you to confirm.
