Edit or delete a social profile
If your social profile isn't behaving as you'd like, you can edit its settings from the dashboard. Or, if you no longer need it, you can delete the profile entirely.
How to edit a profile
- Go to the Profiles+ tab.
- Select My profiles either in the drop-down menu or on the left side of your dashboard.
- Locate in the list the profile you’re looking to edit. To make this easier, you can use the search tool at the top right-hand side of the screen.
- Click on the profile name or the edit icon to edit the profile. This brings up the settings window for that profile, where you can make changes as needed. The options will vary depending on the type of profile you are editing.
How to delete a profile
Important: When deleting profiles, your historical reporting data will be deleted. In addition, any messages that have been scheduled for or sent to the profile you're deleting will display 'No profiles selected'. If you want to salvage these messages, please edit them and change the associated profiles before deleting the original profile.
- Go to the Profiles+ tab.
- Select My profiles either in the drop-down menu or on the left side of your dashboard.
- Locate in the list the profile you’re looking to delete. To make this easier, you can use the search tool at the top right-hand side of the screen.
- Click the trash icon opposite where the profile is listed to delete that particular profile.
- You will then be prompted to confirm this action. Please review this message, and if you're ready to proceed, click Yes, Proceed.
- That profile will no longer be accessible and will no longer count towards your profile allocation.
