Include an image or video in a post
This article covers basic steps to include an image or video in your post when using the Compose Box. If you're composing multiple messages using the Bulk Importer, you will only be able to attach images, as multiple videos cannot be imported at one time.
Getting started
Click the Attach button when viewing the Compose Box to bring up the image and video options.
Uploading files
The Upload File option allows you to add images and videos to your post from your computer.
You can either drag and drop the media into the area specified or click Click to browse to open a new window so that you can find and select the files from your computer. If you’re adding media from your computer, locate the files, click on them and then select the Open option on that window.
Attach image from URL
- The From URL option lets you attach images from a URL.
- You can either enter a page URL, or you can provide a specific image URL if you know the exact URL for the image you want to attach.

Once you’ve found the image you want to attach, click the checkbox in the upper left corner of the image to add the image to your post. Then click Import image.
Use recently used media
- The Recently used option will allow you to access any images or videos you’ve included in your posts previously so that you can re-use relevant images easily.
- You can Search for media in the recently used section by name.
- You can also filter by team members' most recent media if you have access to other user accounts.

Click the checkbox in the upper left corner of the media you want to include, then click the Import media option to include the images(s) or video(s) in your post.
Attach media from Dropbox
- By selecting the Dropbox option, you can view and add images or videos from your Dropbox.
- If you select the Dropbox option, you’ll be asked to log into your Dropbox account if you’re not logged in already, and then your Dropbox will be displayed as below.
- Use the Search option to search for specific media or scroll through the list to find what you want.
- Once you’ve found the media you want to include in your post, select them.

Then click on the Choose button for the media to be added to the Compose Box.
Attach media from Google Drive
- If you select the Google Drive option, you’ll be asked to log into your Google account if not logged in already. Once logged in, your Google Drive will be displayed. Use the Search option to search for specific media.
- You can also search and switch between folders if you have any in your Drive.
- Once you’ve found the media you want to include in your post, select it.

Then click on the Select button for the media to be added to the Compose Box.
Using Canva to design images

By selecting the Canva option, you can access Canva and design images to add to your posts. For tutorials for Canva, please see this page.

Search for media with Giphy, Pexels & Flickr
- You can search for images or GIFs by choosing Giphy, Pexels, or Flickr.
- To include GIFs from Giphy or Images from Pexels, add the search term to the search box, then click Search.
- Click the checkbox in the upper left corner of the GIFs or images you would like to use, and then click Import.
- For Flickr, you can select to search based on Keywords or on Tags selected for the image/s.
- When you’ve found the images you want to attach, click the checkbox in the upper left corner of the images you would like to use, and then click Import.
Search and add video links from YouTube
- By selecting the YouTube link option, you can search and attach video links from YouTube.

If you haven’t already added your YouTube account, click on the YouTube icon, and the system will prompt you to log in.
Note: Your YouTube account must be connected to a Google account. Please see this page for more information about linking your YouTube account to Sendible. - Upon opening, videos from your own YouTube account will appear. To search for videos on YouTube, just type a term into the search box and hit the Enter key and relevant matches will be brought up.

Once you’ve found the video you want to include, whether this is your video or another YouTube video, click the checkbox in the upper left corner and then click Import Link. The social sharing URL for that video will be included in your post.
