LinkedIn updates happening on 14 February 2023
LinkedIn has made a series of updates to their API (How Sendible and other third parties connect and post on your behalf). With this, some new changes will be visible from your Dashboard.
LinkedIn has changed how third parties like Sendible retrieve and store images, which will impact your reports, social feeds, tasks and emails. This means that when you view a LinkedIn Company Page or Personal Profile post that includes an image Sendible is unable to retrieve, a generic image will be displayed, as shown in the example below.
Additionally, LinkedIn Company Page posts with image URLs will now display a Sendible URL when viewing the post within the Priority Inbox and Reports.
We’ve also added a new Undelivered error for when you do not have the required permissions to post to a LinkedIn Company Page:
“You do not have permission to post to LinkedIn. Update your LinkedIn Company Page role to Super Admin and then reconnect the profile before trying again.”
