We have received reports from multiple users who have seen Instagram posts fail to publish, and are receiving the error "(400): Bad Request" in their Undelivered section.
This is a generic error code which offers very little insight into the what is actually causing the posts to fail, however, we have discovered that this is due to a bug on Facebook's end, which appears to be intermittently affecting users posts, but this has already been reported to them and is currently being investigated.
If you have Instagram posts failing with this error message, we would strongly recommend you reconnect the affected Instagram Business profiles by following the steps outlined in our support article here: Reconnect an Instagram Business profile
We would also like to emphasize the importance of step 2 in this support article, where you are presented the option to either "Edit Settings" or "Continue as". Please ensure you click on "Edit Settings", and select ALL Instagram Profiles and Facebook Pages displayed in the list which populates, even if only one Profile is affected.
This troubleshooting step may help keep your posts from failing, however, we will continue to monitor this bug on Facebook's end, and will update this page as soon as we have more information.
