About Instagram Reels
You can schedule Reels to your Instagram Business Profiles automatically. This functionality will allow you to experience an easier workflow for scheduling Reels.
Quick Facts
- The Reel should be between 5 and 90 seconds long.
- It is vital to keep the video no more than 1920 px wide.
- The 9:16 aspect ratio is ideal.
- Custom covers are not supported for auto-published Reels.
- Auto Publish Reels can currently only use original audio due to API restrictions.
- Instagram Reel posts will be visible in the Instagram Quick Reports
- You can add up to 30 hashtags to the Reel.
Caution: Instagram restrictions only allow one Reel to be scheduled at a time.
Note: Reels can be found in your Quick Reports, specifically in the Top Posts section. However, these Reels need to have been published after the Profile has been added to Sendible.
Step-by-step guide
- Click on Compose
- Select the Instagram Business Profile you want to post to
- Upload your video
- Add a caption and hashtags for your post.
- You can add a first comment
- Move the toggle to post the video as a Reel (you also have the option to share to your feed)
- Select your desired date to post and schedule
Note: All audio posted via Instagram Reels will be marked as Original Audio. If you wish to use Trending Audio, please create your post via the Instagram Reminder profile, and you can complete this from your mobile device when posting the Reel to Instagram.
