[Resolved] Post not sending across all channels 08/10/2021 @ 9am BST
[Update] from our CEO, Katelyn Sorensen - 08/10/2021 @ 2pm BST
As you know, reliability is central to who we are at Sendible, and we work diligently to ensure that you can rely on us. The team was able to resolve the issue fully, and any posts scheduled before or after the outage will have gone out successfully. We are investigating the root cause and putting further safeguards in place to ensure this doesn’t happen again.
What this means for you:
To avoid the possibility of creating duplicates, posts scheduled to go out during this time will not be automatically retried.
We recommend checking your account and resending any posts that were scheduled to go out during that time.
Unfortunately, affected posts will not be displayed in the ‘Undelivered’ view, so to find posts that need to be resent, check the ‘Sent’ view for messages during the above time period.
We sincerely apologize for the impact this has had and that we were not able to notify you earlier. Unfortunately, a separate issue with our notification provider has meant that we couldn’t communicate this issue in-app as we would normally have until much later than we would have liked.
If you're unable to re-post Twitter posts as the post is being flagged as a duplicate, we recommend:
1. Selecting repost on the Twitter post.
2. Saving that post to the Content Library if you have access to it or pasting the copy elsewhere.
3. Delete that post from the Sent view.
4. Re-create your post and send it - it should no longer be flagged as a duplicate in this case.
[Resolved] Posts not sending across all channels - 08/10/2021 @ 9am BST
We have investigated and addressed an issue which meant that posts showed as sent but were not actually sent out to social sites.
Our investigation shows that this started occurring at 9 pm BST on the 7/10/2021 until 9am today when it was resolved.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this caused and are further investigating what caused this to occur and how it could be prevented in the future.
If you have any questions with regards to this issue or need any assistance with re-posting or similar, please feel free to submit a ticket, and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
