We're pleased to advise that we've now been able to resolve the misunderstanding that led to the Chrome Extension being removed from the Play Store by Google and it is now available to download again as normal.

We have been advised by Google that our Chrome Extension was removed from the Google Play store for direct download on Saturday the 16th. We are currently following up with them about this but don't have a timeline as yet for when it will be available again for download.

What is the issue?

Customers looking to download the Chrome Extension using the link below within the App or by checking the Play store will be unable access it via the Play store to download.

This will only affect downloading of the Chrome Extension and those that already have the Chrome Extension installed should not be affected.

This is also specific to Chrome so the 'Bookmarklet' available when using other browser such as Firefox will still be available.

Next Steps:

As we don't have a timeline currently for when the Chrome Extension will be made available for download again via the Play store, we recommend where needed using an alternative Browser such as Firefox so you can use the 'Bookmarklet' as outlined on this page.

Alternatively, when creating a new Bookmark in Chrome, you can add the following as a URL to add the Bookmarklet to your Bookmarks bar in Chrome:

javascript: void((function() {window.SENDIBLE_CONFIG={domain:'https://app.sendible.com',theme:'sendible'};var script=document.createElement('script');script.src='https://app.sendible.com/widgets/compose_Bookmarklet/dist/index.min.js',document.body.appendChild(script);})());

You can go directly to this page when logged into your Google Account to create a Bookmark without accessing a specific page first in Chrome.

Once you've added this as a Bookmark in Chrome, you'll be able to use it in the same way as the Bookmarklet, by clicking on the bookmark you've created when you're on a page you want to create a post around.
