Here’s the latest update from Facebook:

Hi Everyone,

Thank you for your patience and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. We were in middle of an update for post creation which caused this regression on the photos created via API not being propagated into timeline correctly. This update has been reverted and the issue should now be resolved. We’d really appreciate if you could please check and let us know if you still face any issue. We’ll be happy to help!

Thank you for your patience while we've been monitoring this issue with Facebook. Facebook has been able to recreate the issue and it is currently with their Engineering team for further investigation.

Sadly, the issue is intermittent where not every post is going to the photo timeline only.

The workaround is select the image from the photo timeline and share the post from there.

As soon as there is an update, we will let you know.

We've been made aware of an issue that Facebook is currently experiencing when publishing photo posts to a Facebook Page, through a third-party platform.

The posts are not displaying in the page feed; instead, posts are displaying via the timeline photos only.

This is an issue that Facebook is currently working on, which we're monitoring, and as soon as we have more information on the issue, we will let you know.
