Facebook recently released an update via their API (how third-party platforms like Sendible integrate with social sites) and this has increased the number of Instagram Business bounced errors that some users may receive where the standard troubleshooting steps don't resolve the issue.
If you've received any one of the following Instagram Business bounced errors and the initial troubleshooting steps haven't resolved the error:
- Bounce Message: Unfortunately, Instagram could not process your image/video, it may be corrupted, please choose another image/video.
- Bounce Message: Your Instagram Business session key has expired. Please reconnect your Instagram Business account from +Services or by visiting
- Bounce Message: Could not get associated account ID of Instagram Business account AND/OR access token.
The connection between Sendible and Instagram (via Facebook) needs to be re-established after the recent update. Please see How to Reconnect an Instagram Posting (Business Profiles) service? to resolve the issue.
Step 6 is important, please ensure you click edit settings to select the pages.
