Facebook known issues
There has been a number of reported issues when posting to Facebook, this largely been due to outages with their API (what Sendible and other third parties use to connect to Facebook) as well larger issues affecting the whole Facebook site. If you are experiencing issues with a high volume of Facebook posts, reports or streams, we ask that you check Facebook's status page to confirm whether this is due to a larger issue on Facebook's end. If not, please feel free to get in touch so that we can help as needed.
Some users may still be experiencing issues where Facebook Pages aren't loading in the dropdown menu when adding a Facebook Fan Page service. For more information, please see this support article.
Instagram known issues
Some users may still be experiencing issues where Instagram Business profiles aren't loading in the dropdown menu when adding an Instagram Business service. For more information, please see this support article.
There has been a number of issues on Instagram's end affecting Business Profiles and messages not being successfully posted to Instagram. Here are some the most common bounce messages:
- Bounce Message: Unfortunately, Instagram could not process your image/video, it may be corrupted, please choose another image/video.
Issue: Facebook is unable to process media. This could be due to a timeout on Facebook's end.
To fix the issue: We are working with Facebook to identify and resolve the issue. In the mean-time, please try uploading the image/video again and reschedule the message.
- Bounce Message: Your Instagram Business session key has expired. Please reconnect your Instagram Business account from +Services or by visiting
Issue: This is likely due to the "Token" or in other words, the authorization key, that we need to access your account having expired.
To fix the issue: Please reconnect your Instagram Business account by logging out of Facebook and logging back in. Please ensure you click “Update Account” after you have reconnected (re-logged on).

- Bounce Message: Due to a temporary connection issue at Instagram, we were unable to automatically publish your post. Please try again later
Issue: This is due to an issue directly with Facebook/Instagram and is most commonly due to their servers being temporarily unavailable or an issue with a recent update.
To fix the issue: We appreciate this can be frustrating but the only course of action in this case is to wait for the issue to be addressed by Facebook/Instagram. You can monitor issues on this page and attempt to repost any bounced posts once Facebook have indicated that the issue/s have been addressed.
LinkedIn known issues
LinkedIn is currently updating the version of their API (what Sendible and other third parties use to connect to LinkedIn) that third parties need to use. We are finalising the updates needed on our end but LinkedIn has advised that the updated API is still in development and therefore our users may be affected by outstanding issues with it.
Whilst LinkedIn has not confirmed this as yet, we believe that they are already deprecating the version of their API we're currently using until the updates on our end are completed.
Some examples of how this is causing issues are:
- Not being able to reconnect LinkedIn Services.
- Issues with reporting data not loading as we cannot successfully retrieve it from LinkedIn.
- Not being able to specify locations using the geotargeting feature.
We will provide an update as soon as we have updated all related functionality to the new version of LinkedIn's API but please feel free to contact us in the meantime if you believe you are being affected by this.
