Add a Google My Business location
Adding a Google My Business profile is essential for any business looking to enhance its online presence and attract more customers.
Add a Google My Business profile
- Go to Profiles > Add Profiles.
- Click the Add button where Google My Business is displayed.
- You will be directed to Google and prompted to log in if you’re not already logged into Google.
- Click the Continue button to give Sendible permission to post on your behalf.
- You will be taken back to the Sendible profile settings screen.
Google My Business profile settings
- 'Description': Is a name for your reference. In certain areas of the dashboard, the space to display this name is limited and may get cut off, so you may want to consider that, especially if you have profiles with similar names.
- 'Google My Business Account': Select your Google My Business account or group from the drop-down.
- 'My Business Location': Choose the location to want to add to Sendible.
- Once you’re happy with the settings you’ve applied, click Save Settings.
Important: Please ensure you have verified your Google My Business location before you begin posting to the profile, as the posts could be undelivered. Verification can take up to four working days to be verified and the user will also need to be the owner of this account.
Note: Google My Business profiles only support one cover image and 1,500 characters per post. Videos are not yet supported.
