Feature Sunset - hashtag counter - 04 April 2023

04 April 2023 - We have made the tough decision to remove the hashtag counter. Unfortunately, this is mainly due to Twitter removing the ability to display the number of hashtags via their API (how third-party platforms like Sendible integrate with social sites).

What's changed?

When searching for a hashtag in the compose box for Twitter and Instagram, the number of times a hashtag has been used will no longer be displayed.

What will happen to the hashtags that I have previously used?

This will not affect any hashtags that you have used previously.

Will the hashtag counter be reinstated?

We will try and find an alternative for the Twitter/Instagram hashtag counter to display the number of times the hashtag was used in the compose box, and as soon as we know more, we will inform our customers.
